Comfortable performance cruising Catamaran with minimum extra structure and topside bulk and maximum waterline length.
Walkthrough transoms. The inboard coaming can be cut away for easy dinghy access. Steps lead up to the full width cockpit without having to clamber over aft beam.
The radius aft beam with forward facing seats giving an open spacious cockpit. Main sheet traveller is located either on top of the seat back or on a radius tubular stainless steel targa. This option gives simple no fuss main control. Just ease the traveler for the desired heading. The main sheet need only be adjusted for fine trim, dead running and emergency situations.
Twin helm positions combined with the full width cockpit gives excellent visibility and ease of sail trim.
As said before, the design concept is about minimizing the “bulk” i.e. weight and windage while keeping the ergonomic user friendly accommodation layout. This tends to exaggerate the saloon cabin height in study profile. In reality the wide beam of a catamaran enhances her length.
Propulsion, minimum Twin 9.9 – 4 stroke outboards retracting vertically into the engine bays. This gives easy access from the cockpit and minimizes the fairings under the bridgedeck.
Twin screw manoeuvrability makes Marina berthing and docking simple and predictable.
